Better late than never, right? It has been very busy this month! October's stamp of the month set, Scandinavian Wishes, is just in time to start creating some holiday paper crafting. :-) I've had these ready for a while, I simply couldn't find the time to get them online.
My first card is a simple I Love You card, doesn't even have to be a "holiday" card so to speak. By stamping the heart three times and attaching them together, I created somewhat of a 3-D effect with the heart. I pulled paper from the Frosted paper packet and used some Ruby for a pop of color.
This next card is geared for the holidays, even though I pulled some paper from the Babycakes set. I went with a simple Whisper and Colonial White color scheme, this time with a splash of Cranberry for color.
For the last two cards, I got to use the brand new paper pack, Sparkle & Shine, shown in the 2013 Holiday Gift Guide. I absolutely love it! You can check the guide out online if you haven't seen it yet, or I have some left... stop on by and pick up your own copy (while supplies last).
I kept it simple with this card, using the diagonal striped pattern with the colors Ruby and Juniper. I also used a bit of the polka dot paper as a banner too.
This card, I pulled a print from the Huntington paper pack; I always think it is fun to combine prints from different packs. I took advantage of the cricut shapes as well and easily cut out the ornament shape before stamping. I even added some sparkle & shine with the Silver Shimmer Trim and the Silver Glitz Glitter Gel. One can never have enough bling, right?
Next up, I helped Delaney create a mini album for the high school soccer team. (We had to make 30 of them!!! UGH!) I will share a picture of hers hopefully here soon.
Enjoy!
